Migrating from Greenwood, Mississippi and Franklinton, Louisiana, the late Samuel and Verlean Brown met and married in Chicago, Illinois in 1963. Their southern roots taught them to value traditions like home cooked meals, laughter, love, and spending time with family. The Brown's family legacy was passed down from generation to generation, inspiring us to share these same values with our community.

SERVING THE COMMUNITY
We opened this location on the west side of Chicago to stay true to our family’s migration story. Our family bought their first property in the Austin area, and we took it upon ourselves to be of service that same community. We discount and donate to make sure no one is left hungry.
